St. Paul Oktoberfest - September 12, 2026

The Oktoberfest season in the Twin Cities usually kicks off with the St. Paul Oktoberfest on the grounds of the Germanic-American Institute on St. Paul's Summit Avenue. Perhaps the most authentic Oktoberfest around, GAI celebrates all things German - with music, singing, dancing, food and of course - good beer. The Musikmeisters, with their traditional music and Bavarian trachten clothing, provide a taste of the big Oktoberfest celebrations one might see in Germany.
If you missed it this year, mark your calendars for next year - St. Paul's Oktoberfest usually falls on the weekend after the Minnesota State Fair ends. (Yes, Oktoberfest starts in September.) It's a good way to continue the summer fun!
